Trace organic contaminants (TOrCs) are increasingly detected in the environment, particularly in drinking water and their presence negatively impacts human health and quality of life. Their analysis and detection is therefore of great public interest. In this webinar we will introduce a fast and robust method for trace level detection of 51 TOrCs using the latest advances in triple quadrupole LC/MS technology that when combined with automated sample prep reduces sample analysis time and volume as well as the lab space required to perform the analysis. The method maintains excellent sensitivity and linearity with quantification limits lower than 5 ppt for most of the analytes using the new Ultivo LC/TQ coupled to the Agilent 1290 Infinity II FlexCube Online SPE.

What will be covered?

  • General introduction on the trace organic contaminants in the environment and regulations

  • Agilent 1290 Infinity II FlexCube online SPE setups and advantages in combination with technological innovations within Ultivo Triple Quadrupole LC/MS for sensitive detections of organic contaminants at low levels

  • Results summary (sensitivity, precision, dynamic range) and conclusion.

By attending this webinar you will learn about:

  • a new analytical technique using Agilent 1290 Infinity II FlexCube online SPE

  • technological innovations within Ultivo for a much smaller footprint but matched performance comparing previous generations of Triple Quadrupole LC/MS

  • new features of Ultivo that makes it more ideal in routine testing environments
