Dr Shayne Green (R&D, Dow Inc.)
Dr Shayne Green graduated in 1984 with a B.S. in Chemistry from Murray State University and in 1989 with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Alabama under the advisement of Professor Wolfgang Bertsch. He has worked in R&D for Dow Inc. for 30 years. His focus is in determination of trace concentration levels of small molecules in polyethylene and food packaging using extraction, chromatography and mass spectrometry, which includes polymer additives analyses and taste and odour analyses.
Dr Chris Siegler (R&D, Dow Inc.)
Dr Chris Siegler graduated in 2001 with a B.S. in Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College and in 2011 with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Washington under the advisement of Professor Robert Synovec. He has worked in R&D for Dow Inc. for 8 years. His focus is in providing analytical expertise and problem-solving capabilities using 1D & 2D chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques across Dow’s R&D and manufacturing businesses.
