Separation Science, in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, offers an on-demand webinar covering new technologies for effective peptide mapping.

Duration: Approximately 60 minutes

Speaker:
Ken Cook
(Thermo Fisher Scientific, UK)
Dr Cook has 30 years of experience supporting liquid and ion chromatography applications with Dionex and then Thermo Fisher Scientific. Dr Cook currently supports customers with bio-separations, focusing on biotherapeutics. Previously Dr Cook was a lecturer in biochemistry at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK where he focused on protein biochemistry.

Separation Science, in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, has developed an on-demand webinar covering rapid, automated peptide mapping.

Peptide mapping is a fundamental workflow that is required to ensure that biotherapeutic structural integrity is maintained at all stages of the drug development pipeline. This is required for the maintenance of drug efficacy and patient safety.
Current sample preparation techniques utilized for peptide mapping are complex, and prone to error, which can have a dramatic effect on reanalysis rates, transfer and implementation of methods at different sites. There is also the question of how techniques can be developed to prevent or minimize post translational modifications (PTMs), especially in relation to Multi Attribute Monitoring.

With the continued success and growth of bio-therapeutics these issues are further compounded by the drive towards automation to facilitate high throughput processing.

This webinar details how new technologies can deliver peptide mapping which is:

  • fast
  • easy for untrained operators
  • reproducible and transferable
  • easy to automate
  • provides high quality results with low PTMs

By viewing this presentation you will learn...

  • How new automated technologies compare to existing practices
  • The challenges faced in peptide mapping and sample preparation
  • How new technologies overcome issues with automation of peptide mapping, including PTMs
  • How new automation in 96-well plate format is reproducible, fast and easy to use

This presentation is suitable for...

  • Bio-pharmaceutical/pharmaceutical companies R&D and QC, CRO/CMOs tasked with delivering peptide mapping or peptide quantitation applications

In addition, by registering for this on-demand presentation you will be able to download your own personal copy of the 'Webinar Companion', which includes all of the slides in the presentation and expert commentary on each.
